Project story
A shaded summer house held to steep terrain by two lightweight volumes.
The programme is divided into two wings placed between existing trees. An open courtyard between them brings changing shade into the centre of the house.
The structure minimises contact with the ground. Operable timber screens provide privacy, shade and natural ventilation together.
